Katie Fisher

September 22, 2019. Some faces have a radiant quality, features hiding a special sensibility perhaps. Katie's face is like that. I noticed it while she was helping to manage a table of teas and herbs from Foggy River Farm at the Uxbridge Farmer's Market. She did not hesitate to participate in the project. Fabulous human at an interesting time in her life.

Are you in love?

“No. My first instinct was, ‘no,’ because I’m not in a relationship but I do love the people in my life very much.”

Who has been the most influential person in your life?

“My mom. Yes, my mom has inspired me, really, to where I am today, and I couldn’t really imagine my life without her–and so many of my passions stem from her influence and her outlook on the world.”

How do you feel about the future?

“I feel scared and hopeful at the same time. The future’s on my mind a lot, especially at this point in my life where I am a young adult and unsure of what my future looks like, and a career– it’s really hard to decide when I feel like the current state of our environment is so on-the-fringes and unknown. I feel a whole realm of questions and possibilities that I really want to influence positively but I’m not sure how to execute that best.”
